  2. What is Ghee? • Ghee is a type of clarified butter made from cow’s milk. “Clarified” means it’s been heated and purified. In a way, it is butter, but broken down in a way that gives it a distinct, nutty flavor and a more flexible structure. • It also has no milk or water solids, which is why it doesn’t need to be refrigerated like normal butter does.

  3. Properties • Although ghee is entirely fat, it’s also important to note that fat has some essential properties for health and even for weight loss. According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), fat should make up approximately 20 to 35 percent of your daily calories. • Healthy fats aid complete tasks such as preserving cell membrane structure, enabling your body to absorb nutrients and encouraging proper immune system function.
