  1. All about take-up and pay-off machines The use oftake-ups & pay-offs machinescomes into the picture after the procedure of the haul-off caterpillar machineceases. The take-up & pay-off machines are a type of transversing unit. It keeps the cables straight and intact during the processing via a haul off caterpillar machine. The transversing operations are all motorized irrespective of the type of operation, including- ●Bobbin load ●unload ●locking ●unlocking The transversing system protects the winding of wire on the bobbin of each type. Furthermore, the entire system is guarded via sensors at every stage. Set up of Take-up and pay-off machines The take-up and pay-off system is required in a manufacturing process to ensure continuous production. There are two housings placed inside it to bring the wires to the center of the outlet. The critical role for steady production is of the Horizontal slot of housing which is welded together with the inner end of the wire. Each of the two housings is well-equipped with a reel carriage. It in totality consists of:- ●The flyer disk ●Mandrel for the reels ●The AC motor In addition, to set up the transversing pitch and control drum speed, the machine is also provided with an MMI+PLC control system. Dual take-up The dual take-up is an automatic full-bodied structure that assures continuous production without stopping over bobbin. The primary role of the dual setup is to protect and guard the operation system. It consists of a motor-driven sensor actuated carriage system which takes care of the bobbin unloading and loading

  2. system. The dual take-up setup ensures smooth changeover of wire that saves time that might have been wasted otherwise in replacing the bobbin.
