  1. Paul Zarda Is the Inventor of “The Zarda-Top-Spin-Racquet”

  2. Paul Zarda is a Sanford based professional having many years of experience under his belt. He has invented a tennis racquet named “The Zarda-Top-Spin-Racquet” or Z-TSR. The main feature of this racquet is that it has an inner frame & an isolation system that connects both the frames – inner and outer. His motive behind this invention was to increase ball rebound spin and the accuracy of a tennis ball’s trajectory.

  3. He has reviewed engineering processes at Lockheed’s Missile and Fire Control Facility in the area of preliminary & conceptual design of missile and fire-control systems. This led to the developed architecture and methodology to capture that knowledge. Today the Engineering Methods Group offers Interactive Missile Design (IMD) and Interactive Gimbal Design (IMD) for conceptual missile and fire control designs. This effort made a significant impact in integrating complex multi-disciplinary design processes which has led to over $5 million dollars of documented savings.

  4. Paul Zarda is also handling various responsibilities that include Program Manager of the Supersonic Hypersonic Vehicle Design contract with WPAFB, Program Manager of the Web-based Design Environment contract with the Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), and Member of the Technical Staff assigned to Research and Technology in Technical Operations. He is also responsible for the development of FEM/SINDA, an industry standard thermal analysis code that significantly increasing productivity in thermal analysis.

  5. Paul Zarda of Orlando obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics & Physics from Jacksonville University. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering, & he received his Masters and PhD degrees in Engineering Mechanics from Columbia University, N.Y. Paul also likes to spend quality time with his family, playing tennis, design and analysis of tennis racquets; and wood working in his home shop.
