  1. Back-Up To Battery An in-home battery is an energy storage unit that can stand alone or be coupled with other batteries for even more power storage. The battery draws straight from the electrical grid or stores solar energy. Always back up your home battery because if there is a power outage you will still be able to use your electrical appliances. Residential batteries are very expensive, and this is largely due to the systems that are needed to power the batteries and assist in drawing energy from the grid or solar panels. BYD batteries have been around since the mid-90s and have made great strides and advancements in finding the best solutions for rechargeable batteries. BYD strives to find innovative ways forward by providing zero-emission energy. Batteries for homes vary and depend on the household how much power does the home requires and what is the battery's capacity. Batteries are measured in kilowatt-hours which can be anywhere from 1kWh to 10kWh. These big-capacity batteries will run a home for 10 to 12 hours. A home battery system takes about 3 hours to install, and it needs to be installed in a covered area to protect it from the sun which can cause it to heat up. It is best situated indoors near to the electrical switchboard. You can get an app on your phone to monitor your battery to see how much power it is storing and generating. When you choose to install a home, the battery ensures that it is compatible with all inverters both single and three-phase. Make sure that it is a compliant battery and has extra safety measures in place.
