  2. Hearing loss in children can certainly be a traumatic experience both for kids & parents.

  3. Many parents get anxious when their ward fails a hearing test.

  6. Your child is going to react when he sees you but doesn’t respond when you call his name.

  7. In addition to this, your child will be able to hear some sounds but not other sounds.

  18. Sensorineural hearing loss occurs when there is a problem with the auditory cortex portion of the brain.

  19. Conductive hearing loss is caused by a blockage that prevents sound from being transmitted from the outer ear to the inner ear.

  20. Auditory processing disorder is caused when the brain and the ears don’t coordinate completely.

  21. Hearing loss in children needs immediate diagnosing so that remedial measures can be initiated properly.
