What steps do we take to solve problems? • Take a deep breath. • Think of the problem. • Think of the possibilities. • Make a choice.
We will solve these problems together in our book. We will tell what the problem is and…. Select a good choice of what to do.
Problem #1 Ms. Winder is absent. She is sick or at a workshop. You have a substitute. What should you do?
Solutions • Run and hit people? • Listen to your new teacher and know that everything is okay? What should you do?
Problem #2 You want pizza for lunch. But they only have sandwiches. What should you do?
Solutions • Cry and hit people. • Take the chicken. It is still delicious and you know you could have pizza tomorrow. What should you do?
Problem #3 You had a rough day. You did not listen to the rules and now you cannot play in gym. What should you do?
Solutions • Yell at your teachers and friends? • Sit quietly and wait. If you keep your hands and mouth quiet, you could play tomorrow. What should you do?
