Starting from beginning a family tradition of more than 92 years. It was carried forward by his nephew Late Adv Kanhaiya Lal Ji Saxena. Mr Shyam Bihari Lal Ji Saxena was mayor of Jaipur City for two consecutive terms and to protest the shifting of the Bench, he surrendered his municipal corporation’s membership and was also jailed in this connection. He was an accomplished social worker connected with many social & religious organizations.
