One of the most traditional dishes in the whole of India. • Alooparatha. One of the most routine breakfast items in Punjab is alooparatha. • Makki di roti. This is flatbread that is cooked on the tava or a stove. • Lassi.

  4. Culture • The culture of Punjab encompasses the spoken language, written literature, cuisine, science, technology, military warfare, architecture, traditions,sacrifices, values and history of the Punjabi people native to the northern part of the Indian subcontinent.

  5. About the lifestyle • The compassion and high spiritedness exhibited in the lifestyle of people of Punjab (Punjabis) is hard to miss. While the Punjabis are known for their strong determination, their culture presents a multi-hued heritage of ancient civilizations.

  6. Festival • Vaisakhi • One of the most important and religious celebrations that have been tagged as the national festival of Punjab is Vaisakhi or Baisakhi. This festival is celebrated by Sikhs and Hindus of Punjab.
