It works well especially against the grout that is slightly dirty. You can mix a mild detergent in lukewarm water and brush it using the scrubber on the affected area. Start with small area and then move further. Use oxygenated cleaners: The oxygenated cleaners give out less fumes that those regular bleaches. You can use this method to clean the moderate stains from the tiles. Follow the instructions and directions given on the box to mix the cleaner in appropriate proportion. Then you can scrub the grout using a toothbrush. Use of oxygenated cleaners is also good for general tile cleaning. It contains grouting chemicals that help retain the luster of the tile.

Simply mix a small section of the regular chlorine bleach in 4 parts of the water. Spray or wipe the same on the affected area. Let it stay for 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm water. Hydrogen peroxide cleaning: This grouting material can be a little dangerous so it is always advisable to wear gloves when using it. Please note that this method will work well only if you are using it on the white grout as hydrogen peroxide is a very powerful bleaching element. You have to mix it in the ratio of 1:1 with water and then test it on a small portion of the tile. Leave it for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with water.

  6. White vinegar and baking soda: You have to mix a small proportion of white vinegar in baking soda. Further scrub the solution on the grout lines by using a small brush.
