The Islamic style is distinguished by the novelty and extraordinary quality of techniques used in the making of utilitarian objects. These techniques are:
- Calligraphy (Beautiful Writing)
- Miniature Painting
- Ceramic Tiles (Cini)
- Ebru (Paper Marbling)
CALLIGRAPHY is the art of handwriting.
- MINIATURE PAINTING is the painting of small pictures.
CERAMIC TILES (CINI) isused for interior decorations.
- EBRU (PAPER MARBLING) is a traditional Turkish art.
