  1. Why Eco Matters MATTER Climate change is real and it’s happening now. It’s important for us, our children, and those generations going forward, to take care of where we live. Boston Interiors' focus is to make beautiful living spaces with our clients every day. In doing so, we strive to help create a more sustainable world for all- from how our manufacturers craft our products, to how we operate as a company. April celebrates Earth Day and serves as a reminder to double check your efforts at recycling, reusing, and restoring. Within in our own company, we recycle over 350 tons of plastic and cardboard from packaging each year. Our store teams recycle bottles in the lunchroom and discarded paper is shredded then recycled.

  2. We are dedicated to making sure that our vendors are doing their part, either in production or shipping best practices, for eco-friendly efforts and reduction of our carbon footprint. From our manufacturers to your homes, here are just some of our eco-conscious materials and products that are made to last. FABRICS Revolution® Performance Fabrics Olefin is the only UPCYCLED fiber available for making upholstery. Olefin is a byproduct of refining petroleum. For many years, it was discarded or simply burned off. OLEFIN is dyed without the use of water and requires almost NO LAND and WATER for its production. Because it is produced from what was formerly waste, Olefin has by far, the smallest carbon footprint of any upholstery fiber. (Source: Higg Index)

CertiPUR-US certified foams are: -Made without ozone depleting substances -Made without PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants -Made without mercury, lead, and other heavy metals -Made without formaldehyde
