Introduction Project Dash Project Dash (Driving All Students to Home) was designed through collaboration between NUI Galway students. Students can use taxis even without money, credit cards, or mobile. A significant number of students from universities, as well as taxi firms, have signed up to make use of the services since the program was implemented during the time that it was in Galway and Carlow. Richard Commins, a final-year student of business information systems at NUI Galway who led the project's creation, was at UCC today to participate in the launch of the initiative.
About Richard Commins • Project Dash (Driving All Students Home) was developed in collaboration with NUI Galway students. Students can use the program to take taxis even if they don’t have a credit card or mobile phone. Since the program’s introduction at Galway in Galway Carlow, many students have registered to use the services. • Richie Commins was at UCC today as part of the project rollout. He is a final-year student in NUI Galway’s business information system program. • He explained that Dash was created as a college assignment to help the student solve his problem.
