CLAT EXAM DAY TIPS Most of the CLAT applicants are afraid about how to attempt the paper and are confused about the whole process. Some of them are not clear about what to carry and some are afraid that they might mark the answers wrong while attempting the exam or might not be able to finish the exam on time. Some of the tips for the applicants for the CLAT exam day are given below:- Before the exam: Applicants are advised to reach their exam center as per the reporting time mentioned in the admit card. The main gate of the center is opened half an hour before the time of the exam for the entry of the students. Then the applicants have to go to the classes as per their roll number and be seated. 10 mins before the exam, the applicants are given a sealed envelope in which the OMR sheet and question paper are present. After 15 mins of the starting of the exam, no applicant is allowed to enter the class. Applicants should carry their documents which are important as they are checked by the invigilators. The documents include an identity card of the applicant and the admit card of the applicant. The admit card of the CLAT exam is checked on the main gate itself by the security and only after showing the admit card an applicant is allowed to enter the institute. During the exam: An applicant should be aware of the sections he/she is familiar with and the sections that he/she may face the problem in. As the question paper is a comprehension- based paper, it is advised that they should start with the section they are familiar with and have a good command of the questions as the time is less as compared to the number of questions. It is advised that the applicants should try to finish the English language section in 15 to 20 minutes as it is easy as compared to the rest of the sections. The English section generally consists of small fictional and non-fictional stories in the form of
comprehension passages which are of a maximum of 300 to 400 words. CLAT coaching institutes can help you in finding the relevant passages. The General Knowledge section and the Quantitative Techniques sections should also be given a maximum of 20 to 25 minutes each. The number of questions in Quantitative Techniques is the lowest so it is easy to complete the section on time. The General Knowledge section also consists of comprehension-based questions and is advised to be completed faster as the questions are mostly direct from the passage. The Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning questions are advised to be attempted in not more than 40 minutes combined. The applicants should complete the exam at least 10 minutes before the time so that the answers can be reviewed by the applicants and if required, can change the answer if they feel so. It helps in the revision of the entire paper and the applicants can correct their mistakes (if any). The candidates are advised to practice at least 10 CLAT mock tests before the exam, for latest CLAT mock tests , the CLAT aspirant can connect with CLAT COACHING INSTITUTES IN DELHI Are Looking for CLAT Coaching?
