If this occurs, take your car in for an oil changes immediately.

  4. Smelling oil inside the car Smelling oil inside your car is a sign that you may have an oil leaks. If you ever smell exhaust fumes or oil , your vehicle may be over heatings. In either cases, you will want to take your car in for a maintenance checks as soon as possible.

  5. High mileage As stated previously, most vehicles require an oil change every 3- 600 miles, roughly every 4 - 6 months.
