  1. WHAT ARE SOME THINGS YOU SHOULD DO WHEN BUILDING AN IOT DEVICE? www.psiborg.in

  2. An IoT prototype is used to understand the pinch points and to figure out the necessary parameters for IoT product development.

  3. Underestimating complexity If you have a clear vision of the product you want to develop but did not think it through, prepare yourself for disappointments. Skipping the R&D phase does no good for any project. Most of the IoT companies that failed, focused on what final product they want to create, but not on what problems should it solve. In case you think you have a clear vision of the connected product and don’t want to spend time on research, your chances to succeed are low.

  4. Do your homework with R&D Once you’ve decided which problems your prototype will address, it’s time to start building. That means discovering which technologies you’ll use to create the product, and it’s a big decision. Beware that this will require some experimentation. You’ll likely research, develop, and ultimately throw away code during the process. It may seem like banging your head against the wall but channel your inner Edison. You’re not failing; you’re discovering what technologies won’t work for your product.

  5. Think about customer first Remember that after all the hardware, software, and connectivity building and tweaking, a real person needs to be able to use your product. Think about how your typical customer will want to use the product. Brainstorm with your team to find answers to customer experience questions

  6. Bild a Prototype The prototype building process can be time-consuming, but it is time well spent. You’ll discover the minimum parameters you need to complete your IoT project before deployment when it is easier and more affordable to make adjustments. Building a prototype also allows you to discover any skill or technology gaps while you have more time to conduct a comprehensive talent search.
