  1. What is Contract Manufacturing? A company can’t do all the tasks itself. So in order to complete certain tasks it has to seek the help of the contract manufacturing. Contract manufacturing is a process where outsourcing of certain products and components for the manufacture of certain products are to be performed. With the help of the other party, the company gets its products manufactured along with services like design, production, assembly, and distribution. 1.Big companies often use the contract manufactures from the low-cost economies or developing countries. There are some reasons behind it. Some of them are- 2.The developing countries certainly have cheap labor as compared to the developed countries. 3.The developing countries have low-cost raw materials. Thus this reduces the cost of production of the products. 4.The developing countries have the least rules and regulations. Thus this makes it better and easy for the company to have a good connection with the other country. 5.Therefore, with the lower cost of production, the company acquired the quality product at minimal prices. This also increases the profit margins since the company sells the products at high prices with minimal cost price. 6.It offers a way for the developing countries to understand and learn how to specialize in a certain product. Some of them already have the specialized engineers for this purpose. Advantages of Contract Manufacturing 1.The developing countries have skilled labor and machinery for the purpose of manufacturing. If a developed country thinks of doing it all by itself, then it has to install expensive machinery, have to hire skilled labors, purchase production pieces of equipment etc. Thus it is a costlier way of manufacturing. 2.Contract manufactures guarantees quality products. Thus the products required to be analyzed, tested, revision on a day to day basis which may not be possible if done at home. 3.Experienced contract manufacturers will be skilled and expertise in their field.
