  1. What to Expect at First Physiotherapy Session

  2. Assessment And Physical Tests • The first session begins with the initial assessment of the affected or disabled area. In simple terms, the physical therapist will check the affected area in order to know about the nature of the injury or disability. The best type of assessment is done in two parts: • Subjective Assessment • Objective Assessment • Visit the nearest Physiorevive centre and get the best treatment from the best physiotherapists. For more details, you can also contact the physiotherapists in Vasant Kunjcentre.

  3. Subjective Assessment • In this assessment, the therapist will ask various questions related to the issue, such as: • Nature and Origin of the condition • How did you end up in this condition? Was it an accident, or an injury or some other reason? • For how long you have had this condition • When did the pain begin? • Did you take any medication for the condition? • Is your regular life affected by it? If yes, how? • Which particular activity or hobby do you like to do that hinders this condition? • Have you seen any other physiotherapist before? • What thing makes the condition worse and which thing makes it better?

  4. Objective Assessment • In objective assessment, also known as the physical test, the therapist will assess the condition physically, i.e, he/she will ask you to perform a series of movements. These movements will help in understanding the condition better. It will clearly reveal the areas with rigidity and soreness. • The combination of both the assessments will help in deducing the prime cause, solution and the appropriate treatment. If necessary, the therapist can also refer you to an expert for better results.
