TREATMENT Another effective way to treat ankle dislocation is the use of resistance bands. These are used to strengthen the muscles, joints and ligaments surrounding the ankle. After ensuring that you are completely comfortable, you can point the foot away and then try to pull it upwards and hold it for a few seconds at each end.
