  1. Product marketing tactics for eCommerce to try out 2/12/2022 0 Comments Almost everyone shops online these days, and for good reason! It’s convenient, easy to compare prices and find what you’re looking for, and there are a ton of great deals to be had. If you’re an ecommerce business, it’s important to make sure your website is optimized for conversion and that you’re using the right product marketing tactics to draw in customers. Here are some ideas to get you started. 1) Start by creating a strong branding strategy. Your brand should be instantly recognizable and reflect the values of your company. Make sure all your marketing materials (including your website) feature your branding prominently. 2) Use social media to reach out to potential customers. These days, people spend a lot of time on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, so it’s important to get your brand name out there and establish a presence. Post product updates and deals to start conversations with your target market - the more you engage with others, the more likely they are to visit your site or store. 3) Treat reviews as marketing opportunities rather than something you have to manage. Product reviews are extremely influential when it comes to ecommerce shopping choices - one negative review can make potential customers think twice about purchasing from you.

  2. The best thing about reviews is that they are self-selecting; you won’t have to pay for them in ad space or with discounts because customers will leave reviews of their own accord. Product reviews can be a double-edged sword though: you should always respond to both good and bad reviews, as either one could lead to future sales - it’s just that negative reviews will require more of your attention. 4) Create content that answers the questions your customers would ask if they were sitting next to them (if not, create those answers). Write blog posts and answers on your website that answer common product-related FAQs about what you have for sale. The more information you have available online, the less likely people are going to contact your business directly with questions – saving you time and money! With well written content providing a lot of great information about products without being too salesy or pushy, you’ll build trust with your customers and increase your conversions. 5) Use the right product marketing tactics to showcase new inventory. It’s important to update your site frequently so you can keep people engaged and continue selling items - but don’t worry about posting new product listings all at once, as this can overwhelm shoppers with too many choices! Instead, post a couple of curated products per week that highlight the current stock you have for sale. You could even create themed collections or “collections of the week” that feature different items each time they are updated. Another way to quickly populate your ecommerce store is through “deal of the day” style posts or coupons on social media channels, which will get people to come check out what you have currently for sale. 6) Add a personal touch with handwritten cards and notes on orders. Sending personalized ecommerce product marketing materials is a great way to boost customer satisfaction, especially if they’re from small business owners. If your company isn’t big enough to employ a full-time designer or professional photographer, don’t worry - there are lots of options available online that make it easy for even the smallest shops to add a personal touch. Sites like Canva allow anyone to use their pre-made templates and designs to create eye-catching marketing materials in no time at all.
