    3: Initial settings (cont) Initial settings were covered in the COM Quick Start presentation. Assumption here is that the Comm Quick Start has been viewed and understood.

    5: Initial settings (cont) The SL30 NAV/COM is selected as No.2 Only the NAV side will be discussed here.

    6: Initial NAV settings (cont) To get customary OBS/CDI indications the GPS/NAV switch on the selector panel must be in the NAV position.

    9: Initial NAV settings (cont) Press the NAV button Set the desired frequency (will be displayed as ‘Standby Frequency’) Large right knob is 1 Mhz per step Small right knob is 25 Khz per step Press the <-> key to transfer the frequency to the active window.
