Dynamite – Facts and Figures • 50 – 60 young people across 7 local authorities, with their families are taking control of their individual budgets • All are developing their own support plans based on their allocation • All have facilitators and are looking at different support options • All are hoping to be using their individual budget after March 2007.

  6. Having a go… Tom goes to the BBC, Tom is starting a degree in TV and Film

  7. Getting the right support Joe went to Blackpool

  8. Is the Plan working? Is it the right amount money? What needs to change?

  9. The Story so far …. • This is a ‘beginning’! • Link with new initiatives like Person Centred Transition Reviews • Potential of being able to draw together ‘learning funding and social support • It brings together all stakeholders • It’s a long term project!

  10. Working Together Sharing a vision It can be quite a surprise what can be achieved!
