  6. EXAMINATION (FINKELSTEIN TEST) • GENERALLY NO OTHER INVESTIGATION IS NEEDED FOR DIAGNOSIS.

  7. CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT

  8. CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT • IN PREGNANCY, SYMPTOMS ARE LIKELY TO SUBSIDE AROUND THE END OF PREGNANCY / BREAST FEEDING.

  9. CONSERVATIVE TREATMENT LOCAL STEROID INJECTION • OPD PROCEDURE • BLIND / USG GUIDED • INJ. KANACORT + INJ XYLOCAINE • SIDE EFFECTS • NUMBNESS OVER DORSUM OF THUMB. • SWELLING • DISCOLOURATION AT THE INJECTION SITE. MAY CAUSE NUMBNESS MASSAGE TO BE DONE DISCOLOURATION LOCALISED SWELLING
