  1. Reducing Behavioral Problems Behavioral therapies for children and adolescents have been highly effective in reducing behavioral problems.

  2. Children are dependant on their elders to learn how to behave in a socially amicable manner. It is no surprise that children often pick bad behaviors, including signs of excessive aggression or unnecessary frustration, that can aggravate negative behaviors to great heights if not reprimanded.

  3. Types of Behavioral Therapies Behavioral Classroom Management:- Behavioral classroom management is an evidence-based therapy specially designed to promote positive behaviors in the class setting while suppressing negative behaviors and encouraging overall student academic engagement. In this type of therapy, the student's teacher actively participates in offering the treatment.

  4. Types of Behavioral Therapies Behavioral Peer Interventions:- Behavioral peer interventions usually draw one or more of a student’s peers who are expected to assist the child in effectively dealing with behavioral problems. A teacher will guide a child’s peers to assist the child to learn how to behave and improve academic performance. This kind of therapy is mostly used in schools and has been shown to provide various benefits to academic, social, and interpersonal development.
