  3. Functioning of Oxygen Regulator The primary function of a regulator is to reduce high pressure gas in a cylinder or process line to a lower, usable level as it passes from the cylinder to a piece of equipment.

Purpose of Oxygen Regulator • The pressure regulator is valves that automatically cut off the flow of a gas or liquid when it is a certain pressure. • Regulators are also used to allow high-pressure fluid supply tanks or lines to be reduced to a reusable and safe pressure for different applications
