2. ‘The contrasts’; ‘Swap’ • Plot: • We can spectate 2 neighbour’slifes. A girl who has a successful life, she’s wealthy, has a boyfriend, supportive family, partying every weekend etc. her neighbour is a 24 y.o young man who has mental health issues. He’s scared to step outside of his flat because of his disorder. One day they accidentally meet each other when they both were getting home (the guy from the shop and the girl from the party). The girl started a small talk about the groceries which the guy bought and the girl offered to cook him her signature dish. He tried to refuse this offer but the girl was drunk and didn’t accept refusal. Next day she came to his apartment and he reluctantly let her in. After that she started to cook dinner and the whole evening she tried to start a conversation with her interlocutor, but he was too private and shy. After this evening both of them had a desire to continue communication (it’s not a ReLaTIoNsHIp line Stu!) but due to the fact that the guy was not used to communication and did not know how to take the first steps correctly, and was also simply afraid that she might notice his disappointment, the girl showed the main initiative. As they were becoming close friends to each other their lives swapped. Girl started to pay way too much attention to her new friend and started losing her job and communication with her old group of friends. On the other hand, the guy becomes more confident. Socialisation helped him to improve his mental health. He found a new job, at first he was an online consultant and then he started to work out of home. The storyline based on their changes, so in the end of the film they just ‘swapped places’.

3. Thriller genre • Screen split on 2 similar parts. Separating object-wall in the middle of the screen. • First part of the film the girl has a good mood, she is optimistic, communicative and inspired. The guy is her complete opposite.

4. Synopsis • Non diegetic music. Fast tempo pop music changes on lofi hip hop/house. • There is a one established shot used in the opening scene: splitted screen, only the characters’ moves and the arrangement of objects in the frame change. • There is a blackout and thetitle ‘Swap’/’The contrasts’ is a depictedon screen.

5. Thechangeofthelight in theroomswill be used to display thechangeofmoodofthecharacters. • Main characters: a girl(A1), a boy(A2) • Weneed a whiteroom or a cyclorama to createtwo different flatsinteriors

6. ‘A new dynasty’ • Plot: • One day the restorer got a new order. Customers wanted him to restore a scenery drawing of Ancient Greece (I’m not sure about this actual time of the history because it will be quite hard to realize). He took the order and started work the next day but almost immediately ran into difficulties. After 10 minutes of work he fell asleep and woke up in the same place as shown on the art. Later the main character started to live 2 different lives and puzzle out events occurring in two different time intervals. As it turned out, in his parallel life he is the son of a king but his father is terminally ill. Since he is the direct heir to the throne, he must prepare for the reign in literally 3 weeks, not knowing the laws, statutes and rules. In his ‘normal’ life he also faces new problems as the customers want to get their product back. However, a 23 y.o. a young man (man character) doesn’t want to lose this ‘gift of fate’ and is trying to figure out what’s going on and do customers know about the secret of the art?
