  2. Introduction • Hedgehogs are wild animals. They can roll into a ball, climb walls ,build nests, swim and dig for food.

  3. Food • Hedgehogs eat snails, worms, nuts, beetles , eggs , slugs , berries , frogs.

  4. Habitat • Hedgehogs make their nest under hedges or near walls.

  5. Other interesting things • There are no hedgehogs native to Australia or North America • There are 17 species of hedgehog in Europe, Asia, Africa, and New Zealand.
