    6. Action Item – More Letters the Better Letters to House Representatives Action Item #1: Generate a support letter for the SMART Act to your Congressional House Representatives. Send the below instructions and encourage your staff and colleagues to send letters of support from the MARC Advocacy Platform. Action Item – One Support Letter Needed From Every Public Entity Pool or Sponsoring Association Action Item #2: One support letter requested from every Public Entity Pool or Sponsoring Organization. Letters will be included in a packet with other national organizations showing support for the bill. Packet will be hand delivered to Rep. Murphy and Rep. Kind. Instructions: Attachment: Model Letter of Support for the SMART Act Complete the letter adding any organizational specific information (Ex: how the enactment of the SMART Act will benefit your entity; specifics on what your entity does for your members). Make sure to put the letter on your company letterhead.
