  2. Turbine ventilator is the most sought-after machine in the current times due to its numerous advantages and features. It’s a powerful option as compared to gas based compressed ventilators. These ventilators are highly preferred by doctors, medical practitioners, patients and manufacturers. As per the latest media reports, it is mandated that the medical organizations use turbine ventilators in their medical facilities. These machines are robust, reliable and flexible turbine based medical technology that acts as a life saving device during this COVID-19 situation. Turbine ventilators work by converting kinetic energy of agents such as air, steam, water and combustion gasses into electrical energy. Compressors are used in turbine ventilators that help in generating pressurized gas flow. The machine sucks the air through filter and mixes it with the oxygen coming from oxygen source such as pressurized tank and finally generates a flow. There are different reasons and aspects due to which a turbine ventilator proves to be more efficient than a compressed gas-based ventilator. First of all, a turbine ventilator doesn’t have a central gas supply structure. These machines are powered by an electricity and use the surrounding room air to create pressurized air flow. Also, compressed gas-based ventilators have shorter triggering delay whereas turbine ventilators have a better trigger function. Trigger delay is the time taken by the ventilator to supply air after the patient’s demand for breath requirement.

The pressure controlling system is responsible for providing breathing assistance to the patient during the initial time of the ventilator treatment.
