  2. Integration- means the unification of economic entities, the deepening of their interaction, the development of ties between them. Economic Integration - economic integration, process in which two or more states in a broadly defined geographic area reduce a range of trade barriers to advance or protect a set of economic goals.

  3. International economic integration is the process of developing deep and stable relationships between countries, based on the implementation of a coordinated policy in the field of the economy and other spheres of society. In other words, international economic integration is the unification of the national economies of a group of countries into a single economic system.

  4. Stages of Integration

  5. Preferential Zone An association of countries in mutual trade between which customs duties have been reduced or abolished for certain imported goods.

  6. Free Economic Zone The unification of countries in order to eliminate customs duties and quantitative restrictions in mutual trade, but with the preservation of their independence in conducting foreign trade policy in relation to non-participating countries.

  7. Customs Union. The unification of countries, which implies, along with the functioning of a free trade zone, the establishment of uniform trade tariffs for third countries.

  8. Common Market Common market is a formal agreement where a group is formed amongst several countries that adopt a common external tariff. In a common market, countries also allow free trade and free movement of labor and capital among the members of the group.

  9. Economic and Monetary Union The unification of countries, which is characterized, along with the formation of the principle of "four freedoms", a single social, economic and trade policy and the introduction of a single currency is expected.

  10. Complete economic integration The unification of countries on the basis of the existence of a single monetary, economic and political union, the implementation of a common foreign policy, the introduction of a single citizenship, the creation of supranational governments and the elimination of state borders.
