  2. ❑Ovulation disorders Ovulation disorders is when a woman fails to ovulate regularly and sustainably. ❑Age Related Age-related issues are also a common cause of infertility in women. It is important to note that men also get older, so this can also be a male factor too. ❑PCOS Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a common hormone imbalance that affects many women during their reproductive years. About 10% of women can be affected by this condition and suffer irregular periods and or anovulatory cycles.

  3. ❑Immunological issues Some women have difficulties getting pregnant because of medical conditions that affect their immune systems. These conditions may include lupus, endometriosis, and intake of immunosuppressant medication. For men, these conditions can affect sperm production, which can lead to infertility too. ❑Recurrent pregnancy losses While some miscarriages happen because of chromosomal abnormalities in the fetus, others are caused by immunological conditions or bleeding disorders. ❑Tubal Disease Some women have a condition called a blocked or damaged fallopian tube. This can prevent the egg and the sperm from meeting to create a pregnancy.

  4. ❑Lifestyle & Environmental Factors Couples trying to conceive may be dealing with lifestyle and environmental issues. Lifestyle issues include certain medications that might be preventing a woman from ovulating. Environmental factors include toxins at home, diet and stress or smoking. ❑Unexplained Infertility This is diagnosed when no obvious reason can be found why a couple cannot conceive.
