Reliance Jio MPLS-VPN Services • Key Components • Customer Edge (CE) Router: • A router at the customer site connecting to the service provider’s network. • Does not participate in MPLS routing; uses standard IP routing. • Provider Edge (PE) Router: • Located at the service provider’s edge, it connects to CE routers. • Maintains VRFs (Virtual Routing and Forwarding instances) for each customer to keep routing information separate. • Provider (P) Router: • Core routers within the service provider’s MPLS network. • Handles MPLS label switching but does not maintain customer-specific routing information.

Reliance Jio MPLS-VPN Services • VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding): • A separate routing table for each customer on the PE router, ensuring traffic segregation. • Route Distinguisher (RD): • A unique identifier added to each route in a VRF to distinguish between identical routes from different customers. • Route Target (RT): • Used to control the import and export of routes in VRFs for route filtering and policy implementation.
