    • Teach school subjects in a target language

    • Native speaker of French

    • Native speaker of English in a area where two official languages exist

  • Early (total) immersion
    • Entirely in French; from kindergarten
    • English is introduced in grade 2, 3 or 4
    • At the grade 6-8, approximately half the school days is in French and half in English
