Based on the number of LEDs on the chip, there are two types of T8 LED tube lights: • Single-Row LED Tubes • Double-Row LED Tubes Let’s see how you can fix a dual-row LED tube when one of the rows stops producing light: • Identify the most common problems • The electrical wire on one end (that sends input power to the malfunctioning row) of the tube can be broken. • The soldering connection may be chipped & loose. 50,000 WORKING HOUR’S Used for 12 hours a day Repairing The T8 Tube light fixture: • Remove the screws from the end which is not working. • Carefully, take off the end cap. • Remove the PC housing (tube cover) by pushing it upwards. • Using a soldering iron, weld the broken wires back into the right position. • Most T8 LED tubes have a red and a black wire. Weld the red wire at the positive end (+) and the black wire at the negative (-). • If the breakage is on the wire, then weld the red wire to the red wire and vice versa. Later, secure the connection by insulating with adhe- sive tape. • Reassemble the tube housing and fit the tube back in the socket. Choosing the right tube lighting fixture is not an easy choice, but with this guide’s help, you have enough knowledge to shop for all the variety of LED tubes you want. Ledmyplace
