  1. Latina Business Professionals Could Be the US Economy's Safest Bet Latina business professionals are starting small businesses in the United States faster than the rest of the population. They have become a larger part of the total US market, with estimates that they will make up over twenty nine percent of the US population in the next thirty years. Studies have shown that Latina businesses are growing as fast as the US average and could add over $1.4 billion to the US economy in the coming years. To put this into perspective, this means that it's forty percent more in one year than Microsoft has made in the past forty eight years. It would add approximately eight percent to the $18 trillion US economy. At the same time Latina business professionals are the most underfunded businesses in the United States today. As a result, when Latina business professionals start a business, seventy percent of their funding comes from personal savings and family and friends, only six percent is funded by commercial banks. They are relying on their family, friends and personal savings to start businesses, which are proving successful. There are some venture capitalists that have joined in to assist these business owners, helping to accelerate their growth. There is also an annual national based Latina business professionals conference that focuses on helping them gain information, network, meet influencer's and business professionals, along with angel investors, mentors, and venture capitalists. This has become one of the largest national based conferences in the United States today. The study that was carried out found that only half of the Latina business professionals that took part in the survey secured outside funding. 1.3 million Latina business professionals were surveyed at the time. Many of them are afraid to apply for outside funding with the fear that they will be turned down, relying on their personal savings instead to grow their businesses. The funding process is often complicated for entrepreneurs that are not born in the United States. There are plenty of cultural differences, including language difficulties. Often they do not have adequate credit history to secure the outside funding that they require, which will result in their application being rejected. Forty percent of Latina business professionals who are legally in the United States are rejected when applying for their first business loan. The annual national based conference, L'ATTITUDE, has proven to focus on the New Mainstream Economy and the US Latino cohort that drives it. The conference has been started by international business professionals of Latino decent that provide information, data, assistance, networking opportunities and funding opportunities specifically for the Latina business professionals in the United States. The conference focuses on encouraging outside businesses and investors to invest in these businesses, helping them grow and become a valuable part of the US economy, benefiting all Americans moving forward. It's to everyones benefit to support and assist the Latina business professionals moving forward. It will not only improve their growth and help them succeed, but will be instrumental to the US economy in the next few years. Eighty percent of net new businesses are Latino owned. While they are the most entrepreneurial, they are the most under-capitalized growth in the United States. Latina business professionals can benefit greatly by attending an annual conference that is focused on the US Latino cohort, which provides them with valuable insight to help them growth and achieve success.
