  1. Why Modern Architecture is the Latest Attraction in Las Vegas? Las Vegas is a must visit city in the United States. No matter if you like to gamble or not, even if just for sightseeing, Las Vegas is a tourist opportunity that is not to be missed. There is a lot to be seen in the city and Las Vegas is the perfect blend of modern architecture along with natural geography. While Las Vegas is known for its glitzy and glamorous stage shows, top realtors are of the belief that modern architecture is making a splash quietly in the town. Around ten miles away from the Las Vegas strip, a residential development known as ASCAYA is coming up. The project is being developed at the foothills of the Black Mountain range. The development recently celebrated the completion of the first home in its serious of several projects. This project is looking to set the bar high for all modern design and architecture in Las Vegas. ASCAYA is a 7,555 sq. ft. residence that has been designed by the construction and architecture company Marmol Radziner. The residence has four bedrooms and four bathrooms. There will also be a garage to accommodate up to three cars, a pantry area, laundry room, and a centrally located great room of double height. This area will make up the living space, dining area, bar and the kitchen. It also has a media room and an office separately. A separate wing of the house also contains a gym, a guest suite, and a powder room.

  2. Keeping in tune with the modern architecture concept, the architects are choosing to stick to a warm and rustic colour palette as it connects with the desert environment as well. The materials that are being used in the houses include vertical grain western red cedar, panels of bronze anodized aluminium, and local natural stone wrap. The interior and exterior flooring are being laid out in warm grey concrete slabs, while the bedrooms are going to be done up in oak flooring. Bathrooms are going to be equipped with stone walls and having white quartzite as flooring. The flooring for the bathroom with also includes heating in the master bath along with porcelain tile in the secondary bathrooms. All the residences will be including a swimming pool as well as an integrated HVAC. A lighting system will be customized as per the requirements of each homeowner. Marmol Radziner is known for designing and building high-end residential buildings. The ASCAYA project also includes a clubhouse that was opened in the summer of 2017, and construction was completed at a total cost of $25 million.

  3. Sean Blanchette realtor informed recently that the project will be constructing only five houses as part of the ASCAYA project and six leading architects of the country have been commissioned already to design the houses. Each of these homes will be built on a contemporary design and will be completed by the beginning of 2019. A single house of the ASCAYA project is going to be on sale starting from $7.7 million. The homes will be generally two-storied, private street-facing side and open at the back backside. The backside of the house will be having a floor-to-ceiling glass, providing breathtaking views of Las Vegas and the mountains as well. ASCAYA, once completed, is going to be a beautiful blend of both nature and modern architecture as never seen before in the city of Las Vegas.
