2. Summary of story • The Genre of my film would be a Thriller • The film would follow a woman who is now living a regular life with a husband and kids who’s past being a dancer in a club comes to haunt her. • The opening sequence would show the mum getting out the car in the evening after being out for the evening and seeing an envelope on her doorstep with the name ‘Ruby’ which triggers a fast place flash back of her old life in the club, her abusive ex, lights, drinks and drugs. She would then run scared into the house where we see a shot of he looking a picture in her hallway of her new family and then into the kitchen where she goes on her computer and looks up the name ‘Russel Green’ The opening sequence would end with a shot of the man looking at her house from across the street.

3. Setting • The opening sequence would be set in a large suburban house from with large windows and lots of natural light. • The scene would take place on the drive of the house, in the hallway and in the kitchen and living room

4. Characters • Mum – middle aged, mother, brown hair and slim • Abusive Ex – muscular, big, bald, well dressed middle aged man

5. Camera, editing, sound and mise-en-scene • The music throughout would be creepy and suspenseful to raise tensions • Establishing shot of house with car parking in drive then woman gets out • Close up of name on envelope • Flashback clips would be blurry and very fast paced to show it’s a flashback and a memory with lots of colours and flashes of light from led colored lights • Man is tall, bald and well dressed to make him intimidating to audience
