  1. Islamists Attacked Again: Students And Other Christians Killed In Plateau State Nigeria Farrukh Saif April 21, 2024 In a heartbreaking turn of events, at least 15 Students have fallen victim to a relentless attack by armed Fulani Islamists in the Christian villages of Bokkos and Mangu, located within Plateau State, Nigeria. Among the casualties is a

  2. promising 200-level Computer Science student from Plateau State University, Bokkos campus, whose dreams were tragically cut short. The Assault and Its Aftermath: The Fulani Islamists launched their attack under the cover of darkness, targeting the unsuspecting residents of Tilengpat and Butura as they slept in their homes. The loud sound of gunfire shattered the tranquility of the night as the attackers unleashed a wave of terror upon the Christian villages from 9 p.m. on Thursday. Despite the situation’s gravity, security agencies have yet to provide a comprehensive response regarding the incident. However, Samson Zhakom, an army major and spokesperson for Operation Safe Haven, has assured that the matter is under thorough investigation, hinting at the severity of the situation. The Victim’s Legacy: Confirmation of the devastating loss came from Yakubu Ayuba, the Registrar of Plateau State University, who issued a statement expressing profound grief over the untimely demise of a cherished member of their academic community. The victim, identified as Dading James Jordan, was not merely a student but a Ray of hope for a brighter future in the field of Computer Science. In his statement, Mr. Ayuba condemned the act of violence, describing it as nothing short of heartless. He lamented the fact that despite concerted efforts by various stakeholders, including the Plateau State government, security agencies, and the university’s management, to bolster security within and around the campus, such tragic events continue to unfold.

  3. The Plight of Christians in Nigeria: A Troubling Reality According to the reports, after Fulani Islamists attacked the students while the army was present there, the army did not return fire. However, after students attacked the security post, security forces opened fire on Christian students. In a video, students are seen running to save their lives from security forces. Even in the past, it has been observed many times that security forces have covered up terrorist attacks by Fulani Islamists. The issue of Christian persecution in Nigeria is a deeply troubling and multifaceted phenomenon that demands urgent attention and action from both national and international stakeholders. Across various regions of the country, Christians have been subjected to targeted violence, discrimination, and marginalization at the hands of extremist groups and militants. Northern Nigeria: Attacks On Christians In northern Nigeria, particularly in states like Plateau, Kaduna, and Benue, Christians have faced relentless attacks by armed Fulani Islamists and jihadist groups such as Boko Haram and its offshoot, the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP). These attacks, characterized by brutal massacres, bombings of churches, and abduction of Christian girls and women, have resulted in loss of lives, displacement of communities, and deep-seated trauma among survivors. The International media and world leaders are silent over the persecution of Christians in Africa. For them, these African Christians are not Important, and the only People are those who live in Gaza. We urge the International community,
