  1. What is Illustrated Novel? The term "illustrated novel" refers to a long story containing many graphics that, when combined with the text, provide meaning. As a result, the illustrated novel does not have a single frontispiece or designed cover. Some authors did their own illustrations, and some books had many illustrators.

  2. EXAMPLE: ALICE'S ADVENTURES IN WONDERLAND BY: LEWIS CARROLL This novel is about a young girl who follows a rabbit until she falls down a rabbit hole. She wanders through gardens and woods, attempting to find her way around a mysterious location, but she is unable to figure out the trick. Alice dreamed about all of these creatures and things happening to her while sleeping on her sister's lap. In her dream, she struggled with her identity and maturity while also attempting to return home. She felt more secure after realizing it was all a dream, and she enjoyed her adventure in Wonderland.

  3. ILLUSTRATED NOVEL Alice's Adventure In Wonderland By: Lewis Carrol

  4. LEWIS CARROLL Lewis Carroll was born on January 27, 1932 in England as Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, also known as (Lewis Carroll). He was an English author best known for his children's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Alice Liddell, the dean's daughter at Christ Church, was a 10-year-old girl and Lewis Carroll's friend. It is generally believed that the character of Alice was influenced by Liddell herself.
