  1. Review, Specification, Rumours, Price and much more!

  2. Why not OnePlus 4? • OnePlus has confirmed that its next smartphone will be called the OnePlus 5, putting an end to rumours of the OnePlus 4. • Wait but the last release of OnePlus was OnePlus 3T-- so logically the next in line should be OnePlus 4!!! • It turns out OnePlus has succumbed to the chinese superstition of tetraphobia, i.e. a fear of number four. • Hence, OnePlus has skipped the number 4, and will launch OnePlus 5 instead.

  3. OnePlus 5 Design : What’s New? We don't have a lot of information about the design of the OnePlus 5. All we know that it has a dual camera setup , a metal body and a slightly curved back There is only an alleged image of the device so far. The Authenticity of the photo is in doubt

  4. However, just like its predecessors, the OnePlus 5 is expected to have a very simple design that doesn’t stand out from the crowd too much. Some rumors claim that it will feature a metal body and look quite similar to the OnePlus 3T, while others say that the company will opt for a glass design this year. Those of you hoping that the device will have a bezel-less design like the Samsung Galaxy S8 or LG G6 will probably be disappointed.

  5. OnePlus 5: specs • 5.5-inch AMOLED display with either Full HD or QHD resolution. • Powered by the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset. • 8 GB of RAM and 256GB of space. • Fingerprint scanner located on the front. • 3,600 mAh battery. • Android v7.1 Nougat. • Dual-camera setup on the back- 23MP • Secondary Camera- 16MP

  6. OnePlus 5: Release date Rumours have been thin on the ground so far, so it’s tough to say exactly when the phone will be revealed and released. Our best evidence comes from history: OnePlus One – April 23, 2014 (reveal) | April 25, 2014 (release) OnePlus 2 – July 28, 2015 (reveal) | August 11, 2015 (release) OnePlus 3 – June 14, 2016 (reveal) | June 14, 2016 (release)

  7. Based on those dates, we’d expect that the OnePlus 5 to be announced before July, putting the launch around the middle of the year and release date soon after that.

  8. OnePlus 5: price • One of the main reasons OnePlus devices are so popular among consumers is because they offer great bang for your buck. • The company has been increasing prices with each new model. The OnePlus 1 started at $299 or 1020 AED, its successor retailed for $329 or 1208 AED, while the OnePlus 3 was available for $399 or 1470 AED. The current flagship, the 3T, is the most expensive OnePlus device to date with a starting price of $439 or 1616 AED. • So it’s quite possible that the OnePlus 5 will be more expensive than its predecessor, although it’s hard to say how much exactly. Our best guess is that it won’t retail for more than $500 or 1840 AED

  9. Should you wait for the OnePlus 5? • If you’re looking for a new Android phone, it’s definitely worth waiting- The OnePlus 5 should be out in a couple of months, and it’s likely going to offer flagship-grade specs for a very decent price. • If you’re an iPhone user, the OnePlus 5 could be a great way to switch- One of the problems with Apple smartphones is that they always cost a load of money. If you’re looking to move over to Android, a slightly cheaper – but still powerful – OnePlus 5 could be a great way to make the leap. • If you’ve got a OnePlus 3T, it might not be worth upgrading- Although we don’t have solid spec details, it’s unlikely that the OnePlus 5 will make any incredible improvements over the already formidable OnePlus 3T.
