The bridge will carry pedestrians and a small emergency vehicle, with a maximum gross vehicle weight of 6000 pounds. The bridge will use timber planks, a timber rail system, and pressure treated glue laminated beams to spanbetween timber pile caps over driven galvanized steel pipe piles. The length of the bridge is approximately 250' long. There will be four spans of 50' and two removable beach side spans of 25' each.
