  2. ICT is beneficial for teachers to share resources, expertise and advice. It is also easier to plan and prepare lessons and design materials for students. Sometimes, ICT helps teachers to access up to date students and school data, anytime and anywhere. Teachers can enhance their professionals image by using ICT. ICT is also a big help in distance in teaching and learning process this pandemic. It enables teachers and students to reach out to each other in modular and online learning. Introduction

  3. It is also a great help in conducting seminars which does not require face to face situations with regards to pandemic prohibiting big gatherings. Zoom and google meet has been a big help in webinars and distant online learnings. ICT’s provide an array of powerful tools that may help in transforming the present isolated teacher- centered and text bound classrooms into rich student- focused, interactive knowledge environment.

The rapidly growing usage of technology in today’s world is pushing teachers to consider the integration of ICT in the classroom. • ICT can be used as a tool for motivating students to learn in different ways. • ICT can be effective and efficient • It can be dynamic and interactive Why DO WE need ICT in Education?

Through ICT, images can easily be used in teaching and improving the retentive memory of students. • Through ICT, teachers can easily explain complex instructions and ensures students comprehensions . • Through ICT, teachers are able to create interactive classes and make lessons more enjoyable, which could improve students attendance and concentrations. 3 main Advantages of ICT tools in Education

  15. 4. ICT enhances subject learning: It is well known these days that the use of ICT in education adds a lot of value to key learning areas like literacy and numeracy.

  17. 6. ICT use motivates learning: Society’s demands for new technology has not left out children and their needs. Children are fascinated with technology and it encourages and motivates them to learn in the classroom.
