  1. Jeffrey Sofich The History Of The Harley Davidson

  2. Traveling salesman and entrepreneur Jeffrey Sofich has many passions, but one of the things he loves most in life is Harley Davidson motorcycles. He has attended many bike races throughout his life, and is fascinated by the iconic motorcycle manufacturer.

  3. The first Harley Davidson motorcycle was created in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1903 by William S. Harley, Arthur Davidson, and Walter Davidson. The trio created the motorcycle in a tiny shed, but just four years later, the Harley Davidson brand was incorporated, and the founders started hiring employees to help build their motorcycles, which were known for their signature air cooled V-Twin engines. Throughout the next two decades, the brand took off, crushing all of its competitors. The United States military even took notice, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles were used during World War I.

  4. The brand experienced some hard times in the 1960’s, when the company went public, changed ownership, and went through a short-lived merger with American Machine and Foundry. However, Harley Davidson experienced a renaissance in the 1980’s, and many of the company’s current iconic motorcycle models were created during this era.

  5. The brand continues to be a completely American icon to this day, and the families of the original Harley and Davidsons continue to be involved in the company. Harley Davidson is particularly known for their popular cruising motorcycles, although they also make high-quality racing vehicles. With such a storied past, as well as the high quality of their racing vehicles, it is easy to see why Jeffrey Sofich is so passionate about Harley Davidson.
