  2. The SSB Interview is one of India’s most prestigious defence selection processes, designed to evaluate your personality, leadership qualities, and officer-like qualities (OLQs). Understanding the day-by-day breakdown of the 5- day SSB procedure helps candidates stay confident and well-prepared, especially when guided by the right SSB coaching or defence academy. Day 1: Screening Test The first day includes the OIR (Officer Intelligence Rating Test) and PPDT (Picture Perception & Discussion Test). Candidates are tested on logical reasoning, quick decision- making, and communication skills. Only those who qualify move forward to the next stages. Day 2: Psychological Tests Day 2 focuses entirely on your mindset. The tests include TAT (Thematic Apperception Association Test), SRT (Situation Reaction Test), and Self- Description.
