According To a Survey, One In Three UAE Internet Customers Have Trouble Recognising Fraud And Scams According to a survey by the world's largest digital payments company, Visa, and Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, about one in three online buyers in the United Arab Emirates still find it difficult to recognise fraud and scams. The majority of respondents to the 2022 Stay Secure study stated that before sending their personal information to an e-commerce website, they wanted to learn more about how it is handled and safeguarded.

  2. According to Visa's Head of Risk for the Middle East and North Africa, Neil Fernandes, "Consumers value security more than pricing when it comes to how their data is managed. These findings are crucial for merchants trying to create and maintain customer trust in their payment products."
