Chambers is a good quality restaurant in Galle which might not be as lavish as Mezz2. This little restaurant is located in the centre of Galle Fort. They serve amazing wraps, mezzes and tagines at a reasonable price. Great service, lovely staff, food is fresh and arrives on time. Do order the Moroccan tea with your meal. A word of caution – Avoid the mutton tagine as mutton in this part of the world means goat.

Located at the Cinnamon Bey Beruwela, this restaurant serves authentic Arabic food. In Mezz2 they offer two variety of hummus for starters, Don’t be surprised if they offer you more even without asking. The service here is brilliant. The prawn grill is a must try. The restaurant is situated on a rooftop guaranteeing stunning views of the Indian ocean. Now that’s a pretty picture.

Ceilao Gosto is a coffee shop & restaurant in Kandy that offers range of coffee, food, cakes, beverages & ice cream. Ceilao Gosto is not an authentic Arabic restaurant. They have their grilled seer fish with butter fried herb vegetables and mashed potato in the side drizzled with lemon butter sauce which will make you want to go back again.
A fusion restaurant of sorts, CIOCONAT caters to a variety of taste buds, thanks to their International and Arabic cuisine options in their menu. Think of Kabsa rice, hummus, tabbouleh mixed grill and dates! Drooling yet? We have more. This place has a shisha lounge which is by far the best you can get in Colombo. Don’t miss out the Paan Rasna flavour. Arabic food is available from Thursdays to Sundays.

And not to forget – they do serve shisha and authentic Turkish coffee!
