Far Cry 6 Series Rebounds After a Slump in the Past The Far Cry 6is set on Yara, a fictional Caribbean Island governed by “El Presidente” Antón Castillo (Giancarlo Esposito), who is preparing his son Diego (Anthony Gonzalez) to follow in his footsteps. Dani Rojas (Nisa Gunduz or Sean Rey’s voice) is a guerilla combatant attempting to topple Castillo’s power. Far Cry 6 Release Date The Far Cry 6 release date globally was October 7, 2021, on PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna, and Stadia. Critics praised the scenery, aesthetics, Esposito’s appearance, and the few changes to the gameplay concept. Still, they criticized the lack of creativity and aged design. Following that, a slew of downloadable content was released, featuring three additional contents based on antagonists from previous Far Cry games. Far Cry 6 Initial Release Date February 18, 2021, was Far Cry 6 initial release date on all the supporting platforms. On October 29, 2020, Ubisoft announced that the game’s release would be delayed due to COVID-19.
