  1. Click to Edit Title Ha Giang City is the northernmost province of Vietnam. It is about 320 kilometers from Hanoi. About half of the province is low land, and the remaining half is either mountainous or having a high plateau. Most places have stunning landscapes, which when combined with the colorful locals and brilliant blossom seasons makes for a fantastic vacation destination. This is a fantastic chance to take four days to enjoy the scenic vistas and the local ethnic culture while staying the night in local homestays and indulging in Vietnamese food along the way. The whole distance of the loop is about 320 km, and it can be completed in about 2 days. However, it is preferable to take at least 3 days, and in this case, 5 days gives you plenty of time to see everything. It is balanced well with nearly equal driving distance and duration each day. Unless the weather forces a change in your plans, you shouldn’t feel rushed at all. You may easily return home because Ha Giang is always only 4-5 hours away.

It is one of the stunning mountain passes in the UNESCO Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. ou can take pictures of this pass in a small parking area after ascending a twisting route. Hmong King’s Palace The Hmong Kings Palace in Sa Phin is constructed primarily of wood, stone, and terracotta tiles and is designed in the Chinese architectural style. It was one of the first structures constructed in the area and was used to defend the Vuong family against intruders. This family made a lot of money through trading products, particularly opium. Sa Phin market The Sa Phin market is another noteworthy feature of Sa Phin. Local minorities from outside the area congregate here to purchase, sell, and socialize with both old and new friends. It is one of Ha Giang’s four historically underdeveloped markets.
