What is search engine optimisation?SEO means Search Engine Optimization and is the process used to optimize a website's technical configuration, content relevance and link popularity so its pages can become easily findable, more relevant and popular towards user search queries, and as a consequence, search engines rank them better.

Types of search engine optimization:-1) White hat SEO is a term that describes internet marketing practices that are approved by search engines.2) Black hat SEO is a practice against search engine guidelines, used to get a site ranking higher in search results.3) Gray hat SEO is the combination of SEO methods that go along with Google Webmaster Guidelines (white hat SEO) and those that violate them (black hat methods)

  7. Types of web traffic1) more precisely, the term “organic” (or “natural”) traffic refers to the number of visitors coming from search engine results (as opposed to a paid source of traffic). Organic traffic is therefore a metric enabling you to measure how many visitors came from searches made on a search engine.2) Direct access (direct traffic) to a website occurs when a visitor arrives directly on a website, without having clicked on a link on another site.3) Social traffic refers to traffic coming to your website, mobile site or mobile app from social networks and social media platforms.4) Referral traffic is the segment of traffic that arrives on your website through another source, like through a link on another domain.

You can find examples of website backlinks all over the internet, especially on popular blog sites that link back to relevant content.

  9. Crawler A crawler is a program used by search engines to collect data from the internet. When a crawler visits a website, it picks over the entire website's content (i.e. the text) and stores it in a databank. It also stores all the external and internal links to the website.

  10. IndexingIndexing is how search engines organize the information and the websites that they know about. Indexing is part of a normal search engine process – arguably the most important, because content that is not in the index has no possibility of ranking for a search result.
