  1. Digitalisation And AI In Academics- How Helpful Is It For Students?

  2. Digitalisation and its extension AI play a predominant role in the world of education today.AI is defined as the creation of systems that are endowed with cognitive processes such as the ability to reason, uncover meaning, harmonise events, and gain insight through relating to past experiences. As a result, the term "Artificial Intelligence" was coined. The world is being taken over by artificial intelligence. It has largely and conveniently replaced the requisite human skills and manpower. AI has also made the impossible and unreachable a reality in the fields of medical, communication, data management, and other fields, benefiting a variety of sectors through its many uses.

  3. Let us discuss 3 ways that artificial intelligence helps students learn. 1.Interactive Smartboards International schools are now equipped with interactive whiteboards. The motive is to enhance the learning experience by making it dynamic and interactive. The multi boards support various multimedia formats. The content can be zoomed in, saved and highlighted, among other functions available.Due to study-from-home practices during the pandemic, in the post-Covid era, students have not been able to disconnect from the influence of gadgets. Students are accustomed to touchscreens and tools that can be used to write, draw, and colour. Smartboards are useful alternatives to gadgets like mobile and tablets. Smartboards make learning interesting and help students remember in a better way.

  4. 2.Virtual Reality One recent innovation in education is Virtual Reality, which is helping students to learn math skills and understand history lessons practically and in a visual 3-D computer- generated environment. We would agree that IB education is based on real-life learning through practical and research-based learning that improves the spatial imagination of students. Virtual Realty adds a premium to this and takes it to the next level.VR educators are finding new ways to integrate experiential learning into the classrooms to give students to explore things beyond real-life. It utilises cutting-edge technology to increase engagement and deep understanding. This benefits both students and teachers. With the advancement in technology, many schools are considering this method of teaching and are picking up the pace.

  5. 3. Learning Management System (LMS) Order and discipline are now achievable through AI at schools. These tools can be utilised to monitor, track, assign and generate several tasks and reports. Previously, each of these tasks had to be managed physically through human assistance and overseeing. It was prone to errors due to the vastness of the work involved. AI makes assigning coursework, communicating results with parents, student report generating and more simplified tasks nowadays. Students and parents can easily access the grades and monitor their progress with ease. Because of the structure of the International Baccalaureate teaching program, technological improvements are a prerogative. Globalisation is at the heart of it, and if there is one component of modern technology that complements this, it is the way it promotes interconnectedness. With the opportunities that Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence, cloud computing, Machine Learning, and visualisation tools have unleashed in the classroom, one can only envision the endless potential for transforming education that technology brings. Because the impact of technology is profound and all-encompassing, its impacts may already be felt. Redbridge International Academy, the best IB international school in Bangalore, has been making consistent endeavours to leave no stone unturned when it comes to education. The school is equipped with cutting-edge technology in classrooms and labs to make learning immersive and interactive. For further information, log in to the website.
