  1. What isacutepancreatitis? Acute pancreatitisisaninflammationofpancreas whichleadstoallthesymptomsof thedisease. WhatarethecausesofAcutepancreatitis? Maincausesofacutepancreatitisaregallstones,alcohol,drugs(likefurosemide, azathioprine,steroids,andothers)andhypertriglyceridemiaandhypercalcemia. What are the symptoms ofthe disease? The main symptoms are severe pain in the upper abdomen which can radiate to back. Associated with vomiting and respiratory difficulty. If the disease is severe there may be fever, decreased urineoutputorbleedingfromthe GITract. WhatisthetreatmentforpancreatitisinDelhi?
